Water Marbled Mug DIY

I don't know if you all have heard of water marbling but whoa, it has to be the COOLEST thing! Today I will show you how to make one of the best gifts you could give... or keep for yourself. ;) These unique, hand dipped mugs can be done in any colors and they all turn out different! Follow along to learn how. What you will need:
  1. Nail polish
  2. Coffee mugs
  3. A deep bowl
  4. Water
  5. Tooth pick or in my case I am using the back end of a small paint brush
Start by filling the deep bowl with warm water. This bowl should be deep enough to be able to submerge the whole mug into. Once you have your tub of warm water you will begin to pour in a tiny amount of nail polish. (About a drop or 2) We are using 2 different colors today. You however, can do as many as you want. WARNING: This process is very fast. If you don't move quick enough the paint will dry and clump up so have the tops off your nail polish and ready to pour! You will pour one color at a time. Drop and be prepared to drop the next color right after. Take a tooth pick or the end of a paint brush and swirl the colors into one another creating a marble like pattern. Next, dunk your mug in about half way. Remember you must work at a fast pace in order for this to work well! You want to dunk the mug right in and right out. Set aside to dry. To keep the paint on and safe, feel free to paint a coat of Mod Podge on top. HAND WASH ONLY. Okay guys, how rad are these??!
